Acoustic and Studio

All foam products work well for acoustic insulation due to their construction of tiny barriers built in, but unlike open cell foam, closed cell material does not absorb or harbor moisture - meaning that there is no place for mold to grow!

It is for this reason that closed cell sponge rubber is the obvious choice for noise cancelling, sound absorption, panel decoupling, and vibration control. Closed cell material is also super easy to fabricate and form, easy to bond, and can even be purchased with pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) already applied - making the installation "peel and stick" !!!
